The 1873 chain is a side flexing Snap-On chain designed with plastic flights assembled ona special roller chain with extended pins. This is an advantage especially for high speeds, because it reduces the noise level. 
The Snap-On chains are very suitable for the food processing industry.
The 1873 chain has a 0.75 in. pitch side flexing roller base chain and the plastic flights can be supplied in widths from 82.6 mm (3.25 in.) to 304.8 mm (12.00 in.).
